Two men attempting to steal a ThinkPad computer from Winston Hall were apprehended by University Police Sept. 17.

Jeremiah J. Salter and Antoine X. Walters, both 26, were caught shortly after 3 p.m. after a witness called the police, according to a University Press release.

Both men were charged with attempted larceny and first-degree trespass, and have both been issued trespass warnings from University Police in the past.

Walters was also charged with resisting arrest.

Regina Lawson, University Police chief, could not be reached for comment.
