At approximately 12:10 a.m. Sunday, a live rooster was thrown through a window of a university-owned student residence on Student Drive. A local animal control officer took the rooster, which later died.
THEFT -- A student's coat was taken from a table in Poteat House between 12:15 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. Feb. 9. The student's identification card, keys and some cash were in the coat. The estimated value of the items was $115.
A student's identification card was taken from a laundry room in Piccolo Residence Hall between 3:10 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The card was worth $20.
Three sets of contact lenses were taken from the Joel Coliseum Green Room between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday. The estimated value of the lenses was $215.
A wooden bench worth $500 was taken from a Reynolda Hall study room between 3 p.m. Feb. 6 and 9 a.m. Feb. 10.
A $5 door sign from a Benson University Center office was taken between 5 p.m. Feb. 7 and 8 a.m. Feb. 10.
DAMAGE -- The bumper of a student's car was vandalized between 11 p.m. Feb. 10 and 8:11 p.m. Feb. 11. The car was parked in Lot Q, next to Scales Fines Arts Center.
Two glass panes were broken in a Taylor House door between 7 p.m. Feb. 11 and 11:30 a.m. Feb. 12.
MISCELLANEOUS -- Campus Police issued a trespass warning Feb. 10 to a person who could give no reason for being on campus. After issuing the trespass warning, Campus Police escorted the person off campus.
A student reported that a suspicious person came to her door at Student Apartments and requested to use the phone at about 12:35 a.m. Feb. 12. The person said that his car had been towed and he needed to use the phone. Campus Police could not locate the person.
Campus Police responded to 46 calls from Feb. 10 to Sunday including 12 incidents and investigations and 34 requests for service.
